FROM WHITE

Seven paintings.
One practice: attention.

A return to painting after years of building images through editorial, film, and social work. Acrylic as a practice of attention — minutes becoming hours, blank becoming world.

Lines

This work explores the relationship between emotional state and the way we perceive our own thoughts. The composition unfolds from left to right: from a tenser, darker state toward one that is more balanced and light. The lines running through all three parts become a metaphor for thought. Remaining continuous, they shift in emotional tone depending on the atmosphere around them. The triptych suggests that even the same inner material can be experienced in entirely different ways.

Duality

At the heart of this work is the idea of dualism: opposing states that exist side by side and hold one another in balance. The two vertical panels are composed as a dialogue between cool and warm, calm and tension, transparency and saturation. Symmetry here is not about exact correspondence, but about the search for inner harmony through difference. Through the contrast and relationship between its two parts, the work suggests that wholeness often arises not from sameness, but from the coexistence of opposites. For me, this work is also about the void — the space from which everything comes and to which everything returns. A reminder that form, color, tension, and calm are always temporary.

Life in Cells

Two surfaces sealed in epoxy resin, like microscope slides from another planet. Shapes resemble cells, molecules, small living events. Opposites appear, and then dissolve into resemblance.

Through Space and Time

Weightlessness. Transformation. Cycles. Interwoven forms evoke the movement of souls, their crossings, and the continuous changes brought about by encounter. The painted space becomes an image of a continuous process unfolding both on the scale of the cosmos and within human inner experience.

The Wave

A familiar wave, framed as a circle. The rectangle is left behind; the motion becomes a cycle. Everything arrives as a wave — breath, light, seasons, attention. The curve returns to itself.

Revealed

This work began as an experiment with technique and color transitions. But as I worked, a place emerged on the canvas — one I recognized. My love lives there. The subconscious brought this image to the surface on its own: quietly, precisely, beyond my conscious awareness.

Inner Wind

This work is about a hidden inner movement against a backdrop of outward calm. About an impulse that does not disappear even where everything seems still. About a form of resistance born not from protest, but from the desire not to lose direction. A fragile sail in the open sea becomes an image of a person: we move, we search, we try to hold our course, while also learning to accept that not everything lies within our control. And perhaps it is precisely in that acceptance that real harmony is born.
